LIQUID RHINOPLASTY

A liquid rhinoplasty is a nonsurgical nose job that uses injectable fillers to alter the shape of the nose.

THE PRODUCT:

Aliaxin Dermal Filler

KEY BENEFITS

Liquid rhinoplasty is a quick and relatively straightforward procedure that has minimal downtime. It can correct deficits, humps or bumps in the nose.

What is Liquid Rhinoplasty?

A liquid rhinoplasty is a nonsurgical alternative to traditional rhinoplasty surgery. The procedure uses injectable fillers to add volume and change the shape of the nose. Fillers can be used to augment the bridge of the nose, soften angular features, or correct asymmetry. The results of a liquid rhinoplasty are temporary, lasting a year to 2 years before needing to be refreshed. However, this provides patients with the opportunity to test out their desired look before committing to surgery.

This procedure can be used to correct a wide variety of cosmetic concerns

In addition, a liquid rhinoplasty is less expensive and has a shorter recovery time than traditional surgery. For these reasons, a liquid rhinoplasty is an attractive option for those considering nose enhancements.
A liquid rhinoplasty is a minimally invasive procedure used to improve the appearance of the nose.

Liquid rhinoplasty is a non-surgical procedure

which has a shorter recovery time.

Liquid Rhinoplasty Treatment Overview

DURING YOUR TREATMENT

Consultation: Complete medical history and then examination. Preparation: We will go ahead and clean the area. If we are working the tip of the nose, we will go ahead and may place a small amount of anesthetic on the tip area. Treatment: We start by injecting small amounts of filler into the nose. Every injection seems to take longer than most injections as we are performing safety checks before pushing any filler into the tissue just to ensure that we’re in a safe area. We will use the Filler to contour the nose.

Who is it for?

This procedure can be used to correct a wide variety of cosmetic concerns, including a hooked nose, a bulbous tip, and a bump on the bridge of the nose. It can also be used to make the nose appear smaller or to reduce the width of the nostrils. Liquid rhinoplasty is often chosen by people who are not ready for surgery or who do not want to undergo the recovery process associated with a traditional nose job. And your results are instant!

How long until I see results?

So the results are pretty much immediate. When we hand the mirror to the patient at the end of the procedure, you’re gonna see what your final looks like. The nose is an area that doesn’t tend to swell as much as other areas of the face due to the lack of tissue in the nose.

After three or four weeks, we give the option of a review. Sometimes as the swelling comes down, a mild amount of the deficit might remain. And this gives me the opportunity to potentially add a little bit more filler to finish the results.

Liquid Rhinoplasty vs Surgical Rhinoplasty

When it comes to nose jobs, there are two main types of procedures: liquid rhinoplasty and surgical rhinoplasty. Both types of procedures have their own advantages and disadvantages. Liquid rhinoplasty is a non-surgical procedure that uses injectable fillers to change the shape of the nose. It is less invasive than surgical rhinoplasty, and thus has a shorter recovery time. However, it is not suitable for all patients, and the results are not as long-lasting as surgery.

Surgical rhinoplasty is a more invasive procedure that involves making incisions in the skin and cartilage. It is more expensive than liquid rhinoplasty, but it will give permanent results. The decision between liquid and surgical rhinoplasty depends on your individual goals and concerns. During your consultation we will be able to advise you on which type of procedure is right for you.

Nothing But Professional

As always, Dr Dallas was nothing but professional! I had lip augmentation and Anti-Wrinkle Treatment with Dallas and he done an excellent job. My mother also had Anti-Wrinkle Treatment and Profhilo.
We are both so happy with the results. We wouldn’t trust anyone else with out treatments and would highly recommend Dallas for any treatment anyone is considering. We will most definitely be returning.

FAQ

The liquid rhinoplasty shares all the same concerns of any filler procedure and that’s bleeding, swelling, infection and occlusion. With this procedure we do a lot of safety checks to make sure that the nose is ideal for this procedure. Knowing where the vessels lie, even though there is variance from person to person there is a relative commonality amongst all in general. We are extra careful of those who’ve had previous surgery on their nose as there can be alterations to their basic anatomy, but knowing where the vessels are and performing checks as you go reduces dramatically the risk of adverse effects such as occlusion (complete or partial blockage of a blood vessel) in this area. We will discuss the extremely rare consequence that is blindness as arterial supply to the eye is in close proximity to the nose. Safe practice and safety checks makes this extremely unlikely.
In the first year we might see you at the initial appointment plus, or minus a review at four weeks plus, or minus a, a top of appointment at six months after this, we probably won’t see you again for a year and a half to two years until you feel that the, the nose could again use the top up. The 6 month nose top up is ½ price (€275).
You will want to avoid alcohol the day leading up to your treatment.
As the filler is flexible and malleable after your treatment you will need to avoid wearing glasses for two weeks after your treatment so it allows the filler to settle. Be gentle with the filler area.
The cost of the liquid rhinoplasty is €550 including a review if needed 4 weeks later.
The downtown is minimal, so you can go straight back to work after having this procedure.
In every procedure we perform, we reduce the amount of discomfort a patient experiences by using topical or injected anesthetic or distraction devices. We strive to keep you comfortable throughout the treatment.
We use a high density filler. This means the filler is firm, it will sit on your face and almost appear bone-like. This is why there are different types of filler used in different parts of the face. If we used the same filler for the lips, it wouldn’t hold or give the desired results. The filler brand we use in the nose is Aliaxin.
Deviations of the nose are not generally amenable to liquid rhinoplasty procedures, small deviations can be approached. Consultation will reveal what is and is not possible.
