What are Derma Facial Fillers?

Dermal fillers can help improve areas of the face that have lost volume due to aging, improve balance to your profile and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and other facial imperfections as well as. Dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid and are injected beneath the skin to add volume and smooth away imperfections. The result is a more youthful-looking appearance that can last for several months to a year and a half.

Dermal fillers are an ideal solution for those who want to achieve a more youthful look without undergoing surgery. The treatments are relatively quick and comfortable, and there is no recovery time required afterwards. Best of all, the results of dermal fillers are immediate, so you can enjoy your refreshed appearance right away.

Filler is very bespoke to the individual. Most areas of the face can be treated with dermal fillers.

Who is it for?

This is a very unique question as different people have different concerns within their face. And sometimes filler is the option to restore volume or to add volume where they’re lacking volume to create contour or to fix deficits. Or to just add a little bit of plump.

The right person for this is someone who has a concern to be addressed. We believe at Dr. Dallas Clinic that it’s not our job to create complexes in someone and by doing, and cautiously examining what the current issues of that person are, we can then decide what treatment is suitable for them.

If you’re suitable for fillers, you must be over the age of 18, and you must have an issue that’s amenable to a filler treatment.

We may turn you down for certain procedures if we don’t believe that the results would be a benefit to you. We will guide you towards and away from procedures that are of most benefit to you and that are gonna give results that we can stand over.

How long until I see results?

This will depend on the procedure, but with most, after treatment the results are fairly instantaneous. There will be an element of swelling. And so as the swelling goes down but after a few days, you’ll kind of see a final result.

HOW DOES A DERMAL FILLER TREATMENT WORK?

We start with the consultation to make sure you are assured before any treatment begins.

On the Day (30 mins)

You are booked in for 30 minutes whether it's for the quickest injectable or something longer. 30 minutes allows us the time to have a good solid conversation & consultation to discuss consent pre care, after care and to really address what your concerns are. Most treatments themselves can take 10 minutes.

Results & review

Results are fairly instantaneous. There will be an element of swelling but as this goes down after a few days, you'll see the final result.

Facial Fillers vs Fat Transfer

There are many different types of dermal fillers on the market today, each with its own unique properties. However, there are two main categories of fillers: those made from synthetic materials and those derived from natural sources.

Synthetic fillers, such as hyaluronic acid, are designed to mimic the appearance and function of human tissue. Natural fillers, such as fat transfer, use your body’s own fat cells to provide volume and lift.

Both types of fillers have their own advantages and disadvantages. Synthetic fillers tend to be less expensive and have a shorter recovery time, but they may not last as long as natural fillers. Natural fillers are made from your own tissue, so they offer a more natural look and feel. However, they require a surgical procedure to harvest the fat cells, and the results may not be immediate. Ultimately, the best type of filler for you will depend on your individual needs and goals.

In every consultation we’re gonna look at the entire face because sometimes the thing that bothers you might actually be the result of something else and addressing this area will fix your concern. For instance, when someone is concerned about the hollowing of the marionette lines this is because of the loss of volumes to the temples and cheeks so addressing these areas will improve the appearance of these lines.
It is important to understand that filler is not a lifting product, it’s a volumizing product so when volume is lost we can restore the face to a much more harmonious position.
The denser filler (Cheek & Nose) will always last much longer. It’s much harder for the body to break them down, looser fillers have a shorter lifespan (Lips & Under Eyes).

It really depends. Some results need to be achieved over time, but some can be done all at one all at once as well. At Dr.Dallas Clinic we see aesthetics as a marathon. It’s not a sprint.

And so taking time is valuable to kind of attaining a longer lasting and better result. A house isn’t built in a day, the foundations have to be laid and then the structures are added slowly over time to give a final result.

And it’s the same for the aesthetic industry and also consistency and maintenance of these results is important too.

In the clinic you can combine with profhilo or anti-wrinkle injectable treatments that could be added to your filler appointment.

The downtime after most of the procedures, or toxin treatments, is minimal bruises can happen and they can take a couple days to go away.

Swelling generally settles in, you know, the first couple days. But your downtime for most is slim to none. With lip filler procedures, you will have a dental block in place which will keep you numb for two to three hours but this can alter your speech or, or feel very numb, like going to the dentist for that period of time. But after that, your function will return to normal.

All facial fillers start at €450, except the nose. And if we need to use more than one syringe it is €400 euros per syringe.
